10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Logan Paul

5. The Floyd Mayweather "Fight"

In hindsight, there's a way this can be looked at and added to the long list of "boxer vs. wrestler" matches that wound up being trainwrecks. Like some of them, the Logan Paul/Floyd Mayweather fight in mid-2021 made plenty of money. Like almost all of them, it wasn't any good.

The match was technically an exhibition, and Paul was clearly winded halfway through the eight-round fight. Consider this: He threw a total of 217 punches, and landed just 28. By contrast, Mayweather landed 43 of 107 punches en route to one of the easiest paydays of his career.

To Paul's credit, the influencer did enough to avoid the fight being stopped by the referee, which was a popular prediction.

He wondered if the undefeated former champion had shown mercy on him, and Mayweather (himself no stranger to showmanship) remarked Paul would have been destroyed early if it was a "real fight."
