Between the 20th of August and the 20th of September 2011, Matt found himself arrested on three separate occasions, twice for driving while intoxicated, and a third time after a warranted search of his property - a search which unearthed a secret safe of prescription pills, ecstasy, and several vials of anabolic steroids. Although hardly the only wrestler to ever suffer from drug issues, it's certainly the sort of thing the WWE would wish to distance themselves from. However, this probably won't impact his chances of making a nostalgic return to the company. Since the Chris Benoit tragedy of 2007, the company have taken a far more reasonable approach when dealing with addiction, putting many former superstars through sponsored rehab. As a recent father and married man, Matt looks to have gained a greater sense of responsibility over the past few years, something which can only aid his chances of a nostalgic Dudley Boyz-esque comeback.
