10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sasha Banks

Earlier this year and before she was one half of the new WWE Women's Tag-Team Champions, Sasha found herself playing enhancement talent to Ronda Rousey. Ask yourself this: did anyone truly believe she was a threat to Ronda's Raw Women's Title at Royal Rumble?

What should've been a major battle for Rousey turned into an unwanted addition to the card. Her big issues were with both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, not a woman who'd been shoved out of the limelight and forced to play catch up. Going into the match, Banks' claims she could beat Rousey sounded like desperation rather than conviction.

The match was decent, but instantly forgettable.

WWE had succeeded in turning Sasha from mega-over act into another stopgap for a champion they believed in. In essence, Banks had become a member of the Riott Squad. She was just another victim for Ronda to crow about beating before WrestleMania.
