10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Shane McMahon

8. U.P.Y.O.R.S. AKA Union of People You Oughta Respect, Shane

There was a very brief stable in 1999 called The Union, consisting of Mick Foley leading Ken Shamrock, Big Show and Test. The three guys were part of Shane and Vince's Corporation stable During the initial forming of the group, they called themselves UP YORS aka "Union Of People You Oughta Respect, Shane." It was a bit clever, but is really one of the worst names for a group in the history of wrestling. Also, they probably should have found a way to get a "U" letter in there since they spelled "yours" wrong. Since Shane's name was in the original title, it's always something I'll remember about that period and also about him. Most people don't recall that as the original name because they shortened it to just The Union.
