10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Shield

8. Botchamania

Aside from those directly involved in the incident (and WWE themselves), everyone loves a botch. Provided nobody gets hurt, there's nothing funnier than a paid professional making a grand f***-up, particularly when said professional happens to be one of WWE's biggest stars, and their blunder comes on live television.

That's exactly what happened to poor old Seth Rollins on a January 2014 episode of Raw. The Shield were making their usual entrance through the crowd, ready to interrupt an interaction between Daniel Bryan and Triple H, but 'The Architect' made a mockery of himself. Seth slipped while clambering over the barricade, bundled to the floor, then flopped around like a fish out of water, making the whole thing look entirely more ridiculous (and noticeable).

Reigns had a similar mishap at a house show in Dublin. His mistake didn't come when the group vaulted the barricade, but when Roman decided he'd try to catapult over the top rope and landed square on his backside, with Goldust (one of his opponents for the night) visibly laughing as he turned towards the corner.

The television cameras weren't there to capture Roman's blushes, but YouTube never forgets.
