10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Triple H

2. Poor Press Conference Performances

Triple H
WWE

...when it actually matters.

For certain people within those rooms, Triple H is giving them everything just by gracing them with his presence. His dry stat-reads exist mostly so he can flex about the success of the company (as is his wont), and the rest is mostly all about 'The Game' through the eyes of the fans-turned-press. Questions about storylines, returns to the city and just how much more money the already-minted folk at the top of the tree can make are the order of the day...until at least one journalist addresses the elephant in every WWE room.

Whatever prep goes on between Paul Levesque and his team, it's not enough. At the Royal Rumble scrum, the Chief Content Officer was asked about the sex trafficking lawsuit filed against WWE and Vince McMahon just days earlier. Fans and analysts alike were still coming to terms with just how horrific some of the allegations in the weighty suit were. Not Levesque - he claimed to have not read it. The rebuffing that day was awkward, but was oddly overshadowed his inadvertent stumbling burial of Fightful and PWInsider when pressed for more details on the nature of Drew Gulak's release in the Backlash presser.

For a man who's spent his career appearing to have all the answers, he continues to hate it when people change - or at least ask - the questions.
