10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 27

2. ...And Michael Cole Won

Jerry Lawler was able to make Michael Cole submit to the Ankle Lock, but the match wasn't over there. Even though special guest referee Steve Austin called the bout in Lawler's favor, the decision was overturned - the anonymous Raw GM (ugh) buzzed in through his laptop and announced that because the referee was biased, he was declaring Cole the winner on a disqualification. Fans were obviously disappointed - even though Lawler laid a beating on the annoying Cole, the whole thing was rendered pointless. Cole would have yet another point to brag about on TV, and he certainly didn't waste the opportunity. All in all, it was one of the most ridiculous 'marquee' matches in WrestleMania history, which is saying something.
