10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 38

2. Charlotte Flair's Wardrobe Malfunction

That this sort of thing still gets oxygen in 2022 is somewhat pathetic, but WWE's brief blackout on the Peacock WrestleMania stream during Charlotte Flair's figure eight attempt on Ronda Rousey brought with it a tiring cautionary tale - there's still more shock and awe to be found at the sight of a nipple than there is half the things legitimately painful things wrestlers do to one another on a nightly basis.

Websites gobbled it up for clicks, making a non-story the total opposite, and your writer is guilty of the very same crimes as you read these words, but should all of this not just serve as a pause for thought?

In an era where WWE have genuinely established some parity between the men and women (in terms of quantitive representation if not creative investment), perhaps the next step might be to shoot around temporary wardrobe malfunctions such as these rather than alerting a world of weirdos with a blanket blackout?
