10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 40

6. Jey Vs. Jimmy Was A Disappointment

The highly anticipated match between Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania XL turned out to be a major disappointment.

Despite the intense build-up and the emotional storyline leading into the match, the in-ring action failed to live up to expectations. One of the main criticisms was the lack of chemistry between the twin brothers. Fans expected a match reminiscent of classic sibling rivalries; instead, the bout felt disjointed and lacked the fluidity seen in their previous tag team performances.

The match was marred by repetitive moves and a lack of innovative spots, which made it feel monotonous and predictable. Additionally, the pacing of the match was off, with long stretches of inactivity that sapped the energy from the crowd. The emotional intensity that had been a hallmark of their storyline seemed to dissipate once the bell rang, leaving the audience disengaged as they watched Superkick after Superkick after Superkick... Plus, the match's conclusion was anticlimactic and failed to deliver a satisfying resolution to the brothers' feud.

It definitely wasn't a classic like the other siblinb rivalries that's happened at WrestleMania, but at least WWE can put it down as a sideshow in the real Bloodline story playing out over the weekend.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
