9. He Feuded (And Teamed) With Matt Cappotelli In The Early Stages Of Their Careers
Speaking of Cappotelli, he become one of Morrison's closest friends in the business. The developmental talent is perhaps best remembered for the beating he sustained at the hands of Bob Holly, a very controversial incident during Tough Enough 3 which raised serious questions about the treatment of trainees by more experienced figures in the business.
Cappotelli and Morrison were signed to Ohio Valley Wrestling - WWE's developmental territory at the time - and became a tag team. They even appeared on an episode of Heat in early 2004, losing to the pairing of Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak.
The partners would later feud in OVW, a storyline which led to the introduction of Melina. The eventual five-time champion was introduced alongside Cappotelli and billed as a former girlfriend of Morrison, but later turned on her associate to side with the high-flying California native.
