9. "I'm Adam And I Hate You!"

In a 2005 interview with gaming giant IGN, Ashley told a pretty funny story about her time working WWE's Diva Search. Trying to get a leg up on the competition, Massaro gave out her shoot phone number to fans and encouraged them to give her a call. Thousands did, and WWE weren't too pleased about it.

They must've been apoplectic when one dude left Ash a pretty vicious message.

His number was only one digit different to Massaro's, and that meant he was inundated with horny dudes calling to ask if he'd be their girlfriend. One day, when she was riding between towns on the train, Ashley answered an incoming call and was shocked to hear the words, "I'm Adam and I hate you".

Later, the guy explained what had been going on, and Massaro had to deactivate her number to stop fans from phoning randoms. Sorry, but that's pretty hilarious. It's also something Ashley said she didn't regret. She was only trying to build a fanbase from the ground up.
