10 Things You Didn’t Know About Cedric Alexander
4. Least Experienced Of The Raw Cruiserweights
Having only started training in 2009, Cedric Alexander is something of a relative rookie when compared to most of the names on the main roster. In fact, if we look at the rest of this new Cruiserweight division, Alexander is actually the least experienced of the entire lot.
Wikipedia pegs his official debut at Jul. 17, 2009, by which point guys like TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick had already been around for a decade or so. Other Cruiserweight such as Gran Metalik, Tony Nese and Drew Gulak have been plying their trade since 2005, while even Rich Swann (two years Alexander’s junior), has been wrestling for an additional year, having debuted in 2008.
Admittedly the likes of Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher and Naom Dar are still expected to join the ranks shortly, but nonetheless each of them have been wrestling longer than Alexander has been anyway. Even Dar began in 2008 at the not-so-ripe age of 15.
Crucially though, Alexander’s relative inexperience doesn’t show at all when he’s doing his thing in the ring.
