... Or more specifically, Brandi Rhodes' intense hatred of her husband's new supposed best friend robbed her mate Flip of a spot months before he got himself there.

In a match emblematic of The Elite's ability to fold countless different narrative threads together on the road to the original All In, a June intergender tag team match for WrestlePro in New Jersey pitted MJF and Madison Rayne against Flip Gordon and Brandi, with the winners getting a golden ticket pass to the Chicago supercard.

Unfortunately, Rhodes was unable to work the show due to injury, and replacement partner Bury The Business Bear (thought to be Flip's worst enemy Cody working incognito) abandoned him midway through the match. Brandi was ultimately drawn in, but drilled MJF low right as a previously-despatched referee crawled back into the ring.

The result was a disqualification win for the 'Salt Of The Earth' and 'The Killer Queen', opening the door for 'The Devil' while slamming it shut on the cult favourite yet again.
