For those interested, TNA's early years as a weekly pay-per-view company are available in bulk via the Global Wrestling Network app. That's a good thing for keen historians, because it means some of Impact's most overlooked moments and forgotten characters are at one's fingertips.

Characters like Brian Lawler, Erik Watts and David Flair, otherwise known collectively as the "Next Generation".

Between 2002-04, Brian Christopher merged his Grand Master gimmick with the "Too Sexy" one he'd played in Memphis and teamed up with some fellow second generation names. Although the gimmick didn't exactly take off, it did prolong Christopher's career outside WWE and let him feud with the legendary Dusty Rhodes.

In truth, segments involving the trio aren't exactly essential. Still, it is fun to look back on TNA's formative years and see Brian revel as the biggest star in his faction. Perhaps if he'd had better to work with than Flair and Watts, Christopher would have succeeded.
