10 Things You Didn't Know About Chelsea Green

2. She Could Have Been In AEW

In between filming her brief Lucha Underground run and signing with WWE, Chelsea Green had time to take part in a well-received four-way at All In. That famous show was the precursor to what would become AEW, so why didn't Green end up on Dynamite? Her presence certainly would have been enjoyed in what has been a hit and miss women's division to date.

Green took the fall in the match, looking up at the lights for Tessa Blanchard after a hammerlock DDT, before embracing Tessa, Madison Rayne and Britt Baker after the match. The latter has gone on to be the mainstay of AEW's women's division, and an AEW Women's Championship reign is all but guaranteed for Baker's future.

Could that have been Chelsea Green? Conversations were had, of course, but she eventually chose to put her eggs in the WWE basket. Zack Ryder was still in WWE at the time but COVID-19 put a spanner in that road, while injuries and false starts have beset Green's WWE run. It is pure speculation, but could Green be regretting choosing WWE over AEW.
