Randy Savage himself wasn't the only one who was fascinated by Lethal's impression of the legend, a fellow icon of the industry was too. Finding Jay's voice act interesting, Hulk Hogan wasn't simply content with using the impersonation for laughs. The Hulkster had something else in mind, and it would have meant bringing Savage himself into TNA.

Sitting Jay down, Hogan actually told the young wrestler that he had been talking to Randy about coming in as part of an angle. That story would see Lethal working in conjunction with the 'Macho Man' to get under Hulk's skin and leave him vulnerable to an attack.

For Lethal, talking to Sports Illustrated about the idea, this was almost a complete fantasy. Getting to work with industry giants like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage would have blown his mind, but it was something Hulk was really interested in pursuing.

Unfortunately, the whole concept fell through in the end, but the vignettes were tentatively planned. It's unclear whether or not Hogan was actually speaking with Randy, but that's what he told Lethal.
