It's common knowledge that Pat Patterson is a WWE Hall of Famer, although many may not actually know when Pat was inducted into this collection of legends.

That induction came way back in 1996, with Patterson a part of the fourth ever Hall of Fame class. Taking place over the Survivor Series weekend, Pat was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Bret Hart. Over the years, Bret has often talked about how closely he and Pat worked at times, and Patterson was also one of those pushing to give Hart a shot with the WWF Championship in 1992 - so, the Hitman being the one to induct his fellow Canadian made absolute sense.

Pat Patterson was one of seven names to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1996, and one inductee who stands out from a group packed with star power is Vincent J. McMahon. Along with Vince Snr., the rest of Patterson's Hall of Fame class consisted of 'Captain' Lou Albano, Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, Killer Kowalski, Johnny Rodz, and 'Baron' Mikel Sciculna.

Pat's long-time pal Gerald Brisco would be inducted 12 years later, going into the 2008 Hall of Fame alongside his brother Jack.
