10 Things You Didn't Know About Rosey
9. He And Eddie Fatu Trained Together
The late Eddie Fatu is well-remembered for his role as Umaga, where he had great matches with the likes of John Cena and Jeff Hardy, but during his first tenure in WWE, he was Jamal of Three Minute Warning. Alongside Rosey, the pair terrorized the competition on Raw during a brief but memorable tenure.
Rosey and Jamal teamed together before making it to the main roster, but what fewer people know is that they broke into the sport side by side. The two real-life cousins - Rosey's father, WWE Hall of Famer Sika, is the brother of Fatu's late mother, Elevera - actually trained for careers in the ring together at their family's prestigious school, the Wild Samoan Training Facility.
Following the completion of their training, Anoa'i and Fatu both debuted for World Xtreme Wrestling, a promotion run by WWE Hall of Famer (and uncle to both men) Afa Anoa'i. Though it would be a few years before the men officially became a tag team, perhaps it was destined given that they entered the sport together.
