For years, Seth Rollins was known as Tyler Black. That's the name he built his indie career upon, with stellar performances in Ring Of Honor and other promotions. But in WWE, he'd need a new name, as the company needs to trademark everything and take ownership of a character. His real name is Colby Lopez, but every performer needs a worked name nowadays. What he came up with was Seth Rolllins, as a tribute to one of his role models. "Seth Rollins is a little bit of an ode to an idol of mine, Henry Rollins. Hes the leader of one of my favourite bands, Black Flag. Seth is just a name that I liked," he told the Fay Observer.
