4. He's Quite The Gamer
We’ve already discussed how Benjamin’s talents encompass the
running track, the amateur wrestling mat and of course the squared circle. But
another arena in which he excels is apparently that of video games.
In fact, he actually holds a Guinness World Record for his console-based achievements.
Officially, the accolade is a result of his four successive WWE THQ Superstar Challenge Tournament victories, a run that was only halted when, in 2007, he "voluntarily stepped aside to let somebody else get the chance to know what it's like to be the champ."
The THQ Superstar Challenge was a series of gaming tournaments staged over WrestleMania weekend between current and former WWE stars. Basically a very early predecessor to the UpUpDownDown gaming channel.
So it looks like Xavier Woods might have some competition when it comes to the console battles. Expect to see Benjamin feature on Woods’ channel at some point, although the workings of the Draft may mean that any appearances would have to be saved for special occasions.
