10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 1992

2. Sid Justice Said No To Being Hulk Hogan?!

Vince McMahon likely dribbled all over a protein bar when he first clapped eyes on towering muscle mountain Sid Justice. The ex-WCW man was tipped to be McMahon's next big hero, but there was just one problem: Sid reportedly didn't want to be a babyface, and he said no to replacing Hulk Hogan.

That's baffling.

McMahon was giving Justice the keys to his sweetie shop, but Sid said no. Making this even stranger, Sid apparently had no problems acting like a hero in Madison Square Garden during Shawn Michaels' own face push at Survivor Series 1996 years later. Pick a side, big man.

Becoming the "next Hulk Hogan" was a poison chalice, as The Ultimate Warrior found out firsthand in 1990, but it's still incredible that Sid told Vince he wasn't interested in the role and wanted to remain heel. No wonder things didn't pan out during that first run for the future Sycho Sid.
