10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 1992

1. Every Title Changed On A House Show

House show title changes will always seem sexy, if only because they're rare and make local fans feel like something special just happened in their hometown. Back in 1992, the WWF went live event title change crazy - they booked no less than four title switches on the road.

Every single belt experienced at least one change exclusively for the house, brother.

Bret Hart beat Ric Flair to become WWF Champ on a 12 October card in Saskatoon. The Mountie won the Intercontinental belt from Bret on a 17 January show (two days before Royal Rumble). The tag straps changed off TV twice in '92 as well. Money Inc beat LOD on 7 February, then The Natural Disasters dethroned them on 20 July.

This could be explained away as the WWF looking to spice things up and add value to live tours. After all, if the World Title can change hands in Saskatoon, then it can change hands anywhere. Right? It's fascinating that every belt was involved in this streak of house show switches.
