Its kind of tough to keep track of the amount of times Marty Jannetty was fired from the WWF. Both he and Shawn Michaels were fired in 1989, but then re-hired. Jannettys second firing came in 1992, almost immediately after the Barber Shop segment where Michaels broke up the Rockers team. Jannetty was supposed to return and face Michaels at Wrestlemania 8, but he attacked a police officer and was sentenced to six months of house arrest. The WWF fired Jannetty in March. Jannetty would work the USWA during his absence, and was re-hired by WWF in October to continue the feud with Shawn Michaels that was supposed to happen at Wrestlemania. He would be fired again after the 1993 Royal Rumble after allegations that Jannetty wrestled drunk in his Intercontinental Title match against Michaels (Jannetty claimed he was just tired).
