10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2018
5. Raw's Longest Ever Match
Around a year before he was given an opportunity to lead WWE as Universal Champion, Seth Rollins threw down the gauntlet to the rest of the roster thanks to a spirited effort in what proved to be Monday Night Raw's longest ever match.
With just days to go before the company's final ever old-style pay-per-view Elimination Chamber, Rollins came up short in a seven-man gauntlet match against Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Elias, Finn Bálor, The Miz and John Cena.
Though he wasn't successful, his 65 minute stretch was hugely well-regarded, not least when the contest itself broke a record that'll likely never be beaten. The whole thing went 106:55, drawing rave reviews for how well it switched up the traditional drag of a three-hour Raw.
The "Monday Night Rollins" moniker was effectively established with this display, even if the match and Rollins' run within it didn't mean a great deal after the fact.
