7. The 90s Only Had 3 Women’s Matches

Yeah, women's wrestling wasn't exactly an ongoing concern for the WWF back in the 1980s/90s. In fact, only three female matches featured on Survivor Series cards during the entire decade of the 90s. Before that, the fed had produced exactly one women's match on the original pay-per-view in 1987.

Women would have to wait until 1995 for another spot on the card. There, Vince McMahon agreed to put on a Japanese wrestling showcase. Three years later, Sable vs. Jacqueline went just three minutes for the Women's Title in 1998. 12 months after that, an eight-woman tag was handed less than two mins of ring time.

Chyna did wrestle Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Title (and won) in '99, at least, but the promotion simply wasn't that interested in the female graps until approx 15/16 years later. Women's wrestling wouldn't be taken seriously at Survivor Series for a long, long time.

The current crew make up for lost time. They're ace.
