In WWE’s “Titan Tower” headquarters in Stamford, CT, there is a room. Available to employees only, this ordinary-looking office space is, in fact, an awesome merch vault. During my first week on the job, an HR guy took me for a tour of the building. There was a fantastic gym, a top-notch cafeteria and classic memorabilia (Like Andre the Giant’s boot) on display on every floor.

The gem of this tour, undoubtedly, was the merch vault. Rows and rows of every type of WWE merchandise one can imagine. DVDs, posters, championship belts, shirt, action figures and giant foam hands lined the walls and shelves. For a child of the ‘80s, I was thrilled to see how much classic merch was there. The vintage rubber action figures, trading cards and old championship belt replicas took me right back to being seven years old.

Like a kid in a candy store, I was given the opportunity to search the piles of treasure for anything I wanted to take with me. Fighting my initial instinct to stuff my pockets and run out with my arms loaded, I chose a few choice DVD sets, made a mental picture of the room, and exited with my professionalism intact.
