10 Things You Learn Attending 12 WrestleManias In 13 Years

1. It€™s Christmas Time For Wrestling Fans

All year long, as fans, we get the same comments about wrestling being fake or why we have an obsession with men in tights but this is the one weekend where we don€™t need to deal with the negativity. There€™s over 50,000 worldwide fans who descend upon a city to celebrate the love of the sport and feel like they belong. Everywhere you go, you€™ll see fans chanting, chatting to strangers about storylines or matches, sharing drinks with new friends, meeting people from their hometown, it€™s a really special week.

I was asked to describe the experience and the best way I can is, it€™s like Christmas for wrestling fans. Over a weekend, you get to meet stars you grew up watching & get a picture, you get to sit in a stadium and watch legends and headliners and stars of the future collide and be part of moments that will be played in video packages for years. It€™s an incredible weekend to be a part of so, again, if you€™ve never been to one, make it your mission to go. I went in 2003 and haven't looked back since.
