6. The First Episode Isn't Worth Revisiting

WWE must wish the first episode of Raw was better.

To recap (in order), the very first Raw had Yokozuna vs. Koko B. Ware, Bobby Heenan hyping Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers squashing The Executioners, a Razor Ramon in-ring promo, Shawn Michaels vs. Max Moon, The Undertaker vs. Damien Demento and an angle involving Crush and Doink The Clown.

It also had several, admittedly fun, skits between Bobby Heenan and Sean Mooney. The 'Brain' could do anything and yours truly would find it entertaining, but even his brilliance wasn't enough to save the debut episode from falling short of greatness.

McMahon obviously couldn't have know what the show would go on to mean, or the impact it'd have on his entire company for decades, but you'd think he might've wanted some more razzle-dazzle for the first night. Unless you're attempting to 100% the Network, don't waste your time.
