7. Rob Bartlett Was A Horrible Choice

Even Rob 'I'm Too Cool To Be Here And You're All A Bunch Of Dirty Marks' Bartlett couldn't spoil the magnificence of Flair vs. Perfect. Lord knows he tried though; his horrible, counterproductive jokes had been a blight on the Raw landscape since the first episode of 11 January, and his nonsense would continue until April.

That's when the WWF mercifully replaced him full-time with Bobby Heenan.

Who was Bartlett? Think Mark Madden before Mark Madden, only with less product knowledge and dialled all the way up to 11/10 on the annoying scale. Rob was a shock-style radio host and comedian who was brought in to sell Raw's gritty concept. Unfortunately for fans, that meant endless unfunny digs at wrestling as Vince guffawed his way through them.

Randy Savage, meanwhile, had started to ignore Bartlett just a few weeks in, and rightly so. It must've been hard for him to sit there and listen to someone constantly ridicule a product he was hired to marvel at. Horrendous. Simply horrendous.
