Hold the phone.

Six days before WrestleMania XIV, Steve Austin and The Rock worked quite the hidden gem. It was short (they only went around 10 minutes and had to fight through the usual 'Attitude' tropes), but it's totally possible to see the chemistry these guys were building as foes already.

It didn't hurt that they'd already been at loggerheads for a short Intercontinental Title rivalry the year prior. In 1998 though, they rocked the house right before Austin grabbed the WWF Title from Shawn Michaels at 'Mania. If you can't get enough of the 'Stone Cold' fervour, then this is must see stuff.

Rocky sold like a champ for everything Austin hit him with, and he was able to get some of his own licks in too. That made for a memorable main event - it's one few recall these days, which is a shame. Sort that out immediately by giving it a watch.
