Eric Bischoff didn't hold back on his '83 Weeks' podcast when recalling 19 January 1998. That was the night Steve Austin got in Mike Tyson's face on Raw, and it marked a huge shift in credibility for the WWF. Over in New Orleans at the Superdome for Nitro, Bisch knew WCW was f*cked.

He was willing to work in some celebrity cameos on Nitro himself, but Eric knew that he couldn't match the freedom Vince McMahon had on Raw. Turner execs would never allow it. Further, Bischoff applauded his rival for programming Tyson with his top star. The world couldn't wait to talk about boxing's bad boy some more.

Looking back, Bischoff had every right to be worried. The WWF machine was starting to roll again, and bringing in Tyson for pull-apart brawls with Austin was a masterstroke from McMahon during the build towards WrestleMania.

It's still goosebumps-inducing today.
