John Cena's match vs. Bryan Danielson from the 2 August 2003 episode of Velocity has become a hidden gem classic in modern times. WWE's 2K video game series shone a spotlight on it, and it's roundly considered one of the few reasons to check out 'C' show fare like Velocity. That's slightly unfair.

Both Velocity and Sunday Night Heat were definitely peripheral programming of the age, but both are packed full of interesting historical nuggets. Aside from Cena vs. Danielson, fans of fast-paced Cruiserweight work will glean plenty from a series of matches Paul London had with Akio. Then, there's arguably the best bout in WWE 'C' show history.

Chris Benoit vs. William Regal on the 16 July 2005 Velocity is still on the WWE Network/Peacock somewhere if you look hard enough, and it's well worth your time if hard-hitting technical showpieces are your thing. It's a forgotten match in company history for obvious reasons, but damn...it was an impressive showing from both guys.

If you're ever binging the RA era, then don't gloss over the weekend warriors.
