Sycho Sid became the first person to ever appear on Raw is War as he made his entrance down the elevated new ramp with complete with his own glossy TitanTron video.

Though Sid remains somewhat of a footnote in wrestling history, it was only fitting that he kick off the brave new era as he prepared to main event WrestleMania 13 having recently regained the WWE Title against Bret 'Hitman' Hart.

He'd kick off the show in style, cutting a pretty good promo on number one contender The Undertaker ahead of their blockbuster at the 'Show of Shows' and their tag team encounter later that night with Mankind and Vader.

Set to his music and eerie lighting that accompanied his entrance, Sid spoke with unusual eloquence as he continued to work up to expectations in his second miraculous reign as WWE Champion.

Drawing out 'The Deadman' by suggesting he may have rejoined Paul Bearer to triple team him later in the night, Sid showed great intensity throughout and stood his ground when faced with 'Taker's riposte.

The two forged an uneasy alliance to fight off Bearer's men to close out the segment, leaving plenty behind for the evening's main event.
