10 Things You Might Have Missed At WrestleMania 31

10. All That Shimmers Is Not Mizdow

For months, The Miz mistreated Damien Mizdow, first using him as his stunt double, then as his personal assistant when it appeared as though the former Intellectual Savior of the Unwashed Masses was gaining more popularity. Sunday night, the story reached its climax when Mizdow turned on Miz, tossed him from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and successfully executed the babyface turn fans have expected for the last two months. But before the moment that launched Mizdow's babyface run occurred, the tandem was still determined to stay true to the characters, going as far as to outfit themselves in tights that perfectly encapsulated their personalities. Miz sported tights with shiny bling. They were bright, clean and new. Mizdow, on the other hand, had tights that were old, plain and looked as if they had been worn night in, night out for the last year. They were faded and looked more like something a broke veteran of the Indy scene would wear than someone stepping foot inside the squared circle for WrestleMania. It was a brilliant bit of continuity from two guys who may not be a main event attraction but clearly take their characters and performances seriously.
