For the first time on a WWE special, NXT talents got a chance to show what they could do - in this case, The Revival of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defended the NXT Tag Team Titles against Enzo Amore and Big Cass. While it was a given that the champs would retain (NXT TV has already been taped through to TakeOver: Dallas, and The Revival are scheduled to take on American Alpha at the event), the teams still put on an exciting match. Color commentator JBL enjoyed the bout, though he didn't bring much to the table in terms of backstory. Typically, the former WWE Champion loves to explain (ad nauseum) why the heels are justified in their actions, but during this bout, he offered little more than "Big Cass is big" and "Dash and Dawson aren't pretty." Methinks someone's not paying his $9.99.
