10 Things You Missed From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 9)

3. Let Them Speak

Sasha Banks Bayley
WWE

So. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks.

As we've touched on before, WWE are doing a tremendous job destroying this feud. Dragging their dissent out over several months was their first major mistake, and the company made another last week, presenting their inaugural counselling session through a comedic lens. It was a bad start, and WWE somehow contrived to make it even worse on this episode of Raw.

This week's counselling was short, concise, and, bizarrely, without Dr. Shelby, despite WWE trademarking his name earlier in the week. Then, they had the announcers talk over sections of it. While Banks and Bayley were hashing it out, Cole, Coachman, and Graves were bantering between themselves, sending the message that no, this feud isn't worthy of your attention.

It's a minor complaint, as this week's useless segments were nothing more than an excuse to get Sasha and Bayley on television. Still, it'd be nice if the commentary team shut their traps.
