Minoru Suzuki returned to pro wrestling in 2003 and competed mostly for New Japan and Pro Wrestling NOAH. Though he captured the IWGP Tag Team Titles with Yoshihiro Takayama and the GHC Tag Team Titles with Naomichi Marufuji, the greatest victory of his wrestling career would come in All Japan Pro Wrestling.

In March of 2006, Suzuki came to All Japan, attacking Triple Crown Champion Satoshi Kojima. Kojima had already held the title for more than a year, and though it was Taiyo Kea who would ultimately take the title from Kojima, Suzuki soon beat Kea to win the three belts.

Suzuki would go on to hold the belt for nearly a year, defending it against the likes of Tajiri, Keiji Mutoh, Satoshi Kojima, and former WWE superstar Rosey. Perhaps his most high-profile defense, though, came at New Japan's first-ever Wrestle Kingdom show, on January 4, 2007. With a bit of interleague cooperation, Suzuki competed on the card, successfully retaining the title in a match with Yuji Nagata.
