10 Times AEW Took It Too Far
5. Tay Conti Gets Slut-Shamed
Tay Conti is involved in a monogamous relationship with Sammy Guevara.
Even if she weren't, and she was having it off on a consensual basis with multiple partners, that's absolutely more than fine. It's her body, it's her life, and she would be no less of a human being if this is how she chose to spend her time.
She's barely even a valet at this point; on AEW television, she plays a slut-shamed accessory of Sammy Guevara and is defined by their relationship.
For several months now, she has been targeted by Dan Lambert, who has nicknamed her "Whorehausen" and "Luchawhoreus". Again, some tedious d*ckhead who has the capacity to just purchase the WWE Network and watch the Attitude Era in full on a loop if they're so inclined might counter with something to the effect of "Relax soy boy, he's a heel".
Lambert was still coming out with this ancient sh*t when he played de facto babyface against Guevara, on whom the AEW base had turned by April. The misogyny was so rife in this Russo-pilled programme that it was difficult to determine who the heels were; at one point, Scorpio Sky was effectively positioned as the babyface as a result of burying Conti's sex life. The implication was that you couldn't have Conti, and you were to resent her for that.
When AEW announced itself as the promotion "for everybody," did this have to include incels?
