A bloodied face wasn't on the cards when Irish war goddess Becky Lynch strode into this episode of Monday Night Raw in November 2018, leading a contingent of SmackDown invaders into war ahead of an intended Survivor Series showdown with Ronda Rousey.

Nia Jax potatoed Lynch with a wayward punch during a brawl. 'The Man's' nose exploded like a water balloon, the blood decorating her face as if it was war paint, making her look like the true 'Baddest Woman on the Planet.' Full of swagger, vigour, and eschewing a Steve Austin-like atmosphere, Lynch was the ultimate bad*ss that night, her posturing made all the more iconic by Jax's botch.

That blood and guts raised an already hot angle is unquestionable, though the night would cost fans that Rousey vs. Lynch match. Becky suffered a broken nose and concussion when Nia struck her. The Survivor Series dream bout was off, with Ronda wrestling Charlotte Flair instead, and Lynch was unable to return until just before TLC the following month. A shame that we never got to see Ronda vs. Becky, though shots the bloodied, blue-clad 'Lass Kicker' stood mounting off in the bleachers, arms outstretched, will become classic.
