10 Times Chris Jericho Has Put Over Fresh Talent

4. Fandango (2013)

Johnny Curtis' ballroom dancer gimmick was being written off as a flop well before his long-delayed in-ring debut. To be fair, other than a few moments of brilliance, WWE would eventually lose all interest in pushing him as a regular featured player on their programming. In between the two moments of dearth and disinterest, veteran Jericho would get the most out of him. Fandango would finally wrestle a televised match at WrestleMania of all places, working a very good match with a determined Jericho, one of the bright spots of a mostly dull supercard. Between a good showing and the birth of 'Fandango'ing' the following night, the future looked bright for the newcomer, before an injury derailed everything. Ah well, Jericho tried.
