10 Times John Cena Got Totally Owned

10. Losing To John Laurinaitis Due To Big Show

When John Cena faced Raw and Smackdown GM John Laurinaitis at the May 2012 Over The Limit PPV, the expectation was that Cena would win the match easily. They wrestled a comedy match for the most part with Cena toying with Laurinaitis for the majority of the match. It looked like Laurinaitis was going to get out of the match by leaving the building, but then Big Show showed up and brought him back to the ring. He was fired by Laurinaitis, so the assumption was that here was for revenge. Instead, Show targeted Cena. He tossed Laurinaitis over to Cena, who was all set to deliver the Attitude Adjustment when Show did a surprising move by punching Cena in the face with a KO Punch. That punch knocked out Cena and allowed "Big Johnny" Laurinaitis to get the pin on Cena. That heel turn by Show wasn't a big surprise to those of that follow WWE online because there were rumors that Show was going to turn and that's what happened. However, it was still a well done wrestling that ended the night with Cena losing a match thanks to the Big Show. That wasn't the first time that happened either.
