10 Times Really Weird S**t Happened At WWE WrestleMania 34
2. Roman Reigns Didn't Win
Prior to Sunday night, Roman Reigns had triumphed in the last two WrestleMania main events - and the only reason it wasn't the last three is because Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at the last second in 2015.
It wasn't just history that was on his side, though. It's been clear for a while now that Vince McMahon and his minions regard The Big Dog as the future of the company, the man around whom the entire WWE empire will be built for years to come.
What we're getting at here is that him losing on the Grandest Stage of Them All - not winning the Universal Championship - is pretty massive news. Does it mean that his mega-push is now on ice? That they're finally listening to their audience?
The answer to both those questions is probably no. A more likely explanation is that they managed to persuade Brock Lesnar to stick around and decided that, in the short-term, they are better off keeping the belt on the arm of the Beast Incarnate - at least until a crowd perhaps more favourable to Roman cheers him to victory in Saudi Arabia.
