10 Times The AEW Locker Room Must Have Been VERY Awkward

3. When Sadie Gibbs And Bea Priestly Had A Shoot Fight

As reported by the much-missed Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens, Sadie Gibbs launched strikes in the direction of Bea Priestly following the events of All Out 2019.

During the Casino Women's Battle Royale, Bea, issuing a receipt for Sadie...leaving a tour of Japan due to family bereavement (!), no-sold a move and immediately eliminated her from the match. She also called her "STEW-PID! STEW-PID!", like Randy Orton if he were cast in a remake of Mary Poppins. Gibbs was hot - Bea made her look like sh*t - and went after her backstage. This was obviously an awkward moment in and of itself, but dig deeper, and the potential for awkwardness deepens.

Sadie was offered the AEW gig in the first place by Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks, who were supportive of her following the initial controversy involving Will Ospreay, who was worse at Twitter than Elon Musk once upon a time.

Whether this was an early attempt to babyface his fledgling promotion, or a dig at Ospreay's expense, it must have been somewhat awkward when Ospreay flew over to work the Forbidden Door loop.

Next week's Trios match might just be an even more fascinating prospect than it looks on paper...
