Only in pro wrestling can a story that begins with a scripted jail-worthy offense against an evil megalomaniac billionaire turn into a successful 12-year marriage that's led to three children. Even crazier is the notion that also in pro wrestling can the storyline idea that a wrestler is the boss of his fellow wrestlers because he's married to his boss' daughter become something that eventually becomes an undisputed fact. The craziest notion here is that any wrestler prior to Triple H marrying Stephanie could've been the wrestler that married Stephanie. Yes, the idea of working both on camera and behind the scenes next to your wife is weird, but when you multiply that by the number of times wrestlers are philanderers and cheat on their wives on the road, it makes what Triple H did even more amazing. There's an idea that wrestlers and wrestling fans pass around that Triple H married into WWE for wealth, fame and power, and that love was the least of his motivations. If that's the case, then he's truly much more of a cerebral assassin than we ever knew.
