10 Times Vince McMahon Lost Huge Money In WWE

5. Two Year Decline Starts - April 23 2010

On April 23rd 2010, a two year stock decline started which would ultimately cost Vince McMahon half a billion dollars. The stock price went from a lofty 18.67, to a low of 7.86 per a share. It was a steady two year tumble, and the longest decline period in WWE stock history. The factors behind it were again multiple. The promise and failure to deliver a 24 hour WWE channel was one of the attributable reasons. Another suggestion was that the McMahon family had became preoccupied with getting Linda McMahon in the United States senate. Things didn't start to turn around until the start of 2013, when Linda was no longer running for the senate and when the Network plans were close to completion.
