10 Times Wrestlers Busted Out Moves You'd NEVER Expect

8. Brock Lesnar Busts Out The Shooting Star Press

Brock Lesnar, having not yet entered and for a brief time dominated the world of UFC, worked a traditional if souped-up power style during his first WWE run.

He did familiar things with an unfamiliar physicality unique to his freakish self, which informed the HOLY F*CKING SH*T WHAT'S THAT Shooting Star Press that he botched against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania XIX. It was so close to being one of the greatest spots ever, and, to make it all the worse, footage surfaced of him executing it perfectly in Ohio Valley Wrestling years prior.

Brock Lesnar's style has evolved to a point at which we'll likely never see it again; this is a man so incredible at selling the idea that his opponents are utterly doomed that he only need drive a tree trunk thigh into their gut to present himself as the hardest and most formidable man to have ever stepped foot in a wrestling ring.

Still, he remains an athletic freak. Perhaps one day, if he were to retire, he could bust it out in desperation as the man who slays the beast will not be put away.

Or, alternatively, he can throw Germans with less snap than usual on a blood money residency.
