Professional wrestling has always faced criticism for its scripted nature, and fans have witnessed athletes from other combat sports taking a dig at pro wrestlers over this. However, many fail to recognize it takes some real tough men and women to perform 300 days a year and take those hard bumps every week, and some kickboxers realized it the hard way back in 2005.

The WWE roster went on a tour of the UK, and after an event in Birmingham, the wrestlers returned to their hotel to get some drinks. However, a group of 20 drunk kickboxers were already in the hotel and started mouthing off to the wrestlers.

Former WWE referee Mike Chioda discussed the incident during an interview and recalled seeing 40 people brawling it out, with the wrestlers coming out on top. Chioda stated former 6-time world champion Batista led the charge in the brawl, and despite WWE executive John Laurinatis trying to control the mayhem, the men continued to fight, which ended with the wrestlers standing tall.

Bruce Prichard also talked about the incident and recalled the wrestlers coming on top in the brawl and seeing Batista manhandle a former kickboxing world champion named Kash Gill.
