10 Times Wrestlers Had Their Title Belts STOLEN

8. Joe Hendry's WCPW World Title Gets Swiped

Chalk the original WCPW World Championship design off to an admin error.

It was dubbed the "toy belt" internally, and you can see why by looking at how tiny it looks in Killian Dain's massive bear paws. Whoops.

Barely functional as a bracelet for the burly Irishman, the toy belt was soon replaced by a bigger strap, with the original consigned to life as a prop. This was its role at a WCPW show in Edinburgh circa 2017, as the WCPW Champion at the time, Joe Hendry, sat it on his merchandise table while the newer, bigger belt was presumably in a much safer spot. Unfortunately, this was the last anyone saw of it.

The toy belt was there at the start of (and during) the show but nowhere to be found by the end of the night. Nobody knew where it went or saw anybody taking the strap, but it was gone - and it has never been located since.

Somewhere in the United Kingdom, an intrepid thief is sitting on a piece of WCPW history. If it's you, let us know: we won't tell the police, but we will pay you a fiver for its return.
