10 Times Wrestlers Pulled Back The Curtain

1. The Rock

The Rock
WWE

Whenever he returns to present day WWE, The Rock always feels so far beyond any of today's talent in terms of star power that it's genuinely a risk to even try and pretend that isn't the case.

In 2015, the company navigated around that obvious disparity by signposting his arrival with a backstage walk-and-talk that took him all the way from the car park to the curtain.

On his travels, he passed by The Big Show, Rusev, Lana and others with material that ranged from being "passably enjoyable" to "absolutely Not On nowadays" but slid through his former stomping grounds as if he'd never been away.

This was a unique presentation choice for WWE yet somehow fit Rock like a glove. A known gazillionaire, he was still magnetic and affable enough to feel like a paid studio tour guide to get the whole bit over. Right up until the point he became the main attraction, anyway.
