10 Times Wrestlers Pulled Back The Curtain

9. The Miz Becomes WWE Champion

An odd choice in the era before there were camera filming a wrestler's every move for some documentary or other, The Miz' post-Championship winning walk through the backstage area remains fascinatingly fun.

Every micro-exchange and/or miscommunication becomes unmissable. A single stare says a thousand words when he locks eyes with friend and former/future partner John Morrison, John Cena seems to fit in almost as many in when he sneaks over with some whispered wisdom, and Triple H initially leaving the new titleholder hanging on a handshake is the sort of Machiavellian pro wrestling magic that needs to be seen to be believed.

Ultimately, it paints the 'A-Lister' in a great light too. The scene's as real as it gets, but a production assistant rushes over half way through to obviously ask him to close it with a specific promo. Miz harnesses just enough of his working head to pepper the facts with some in-character fiction just before the scene fades to black.
